Jennifer practices technology law and intellectual property law at Deeth Williams Wall LLP, advising clients on the various stages of protecting and commercializing innovations including complex technology transactions, intellectual property licensing, privacy and regulatory considerations, particularly with respect to emerging technologies, Fin-Tech and artificial intelligence, for both private and public sector clients. Jennifer also advises clients on a range of cybersecurity preparatory and response measures.
Jennifer is the Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law Section, Vice-President of the Canadian Technology Law Association (CAN-TECH), Co-Chair of the Women in Technology committee @CAN-TECH and member of the advisory board of an internationally recognized science and technology university.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jennifer led a start-up technology company delivering bespoke hosted solutions for SME.
