Roberta Annan
Bio
Roberta Annan is an award-winning entrepreneur and businesswoman of global repute. She is the Founder of Impact Fund for African Creatives, African Fashion Foundation and Frallain Group. She is also part of the United Nation Environment Program (UNEP). Roberta has worked extensively with acclaimed industry experts and stakeholders both locally and internationally. In May 2021, Roberta convened the inaugural AFF Industry Retreat, the first-ever creative industry retreat in West Africa which attracted top fashion icons and key players from over ten countries across Africa and the diaspora.
An award-winning entrepreneur, Roberta is committed to raising the economic potential of Africa through investments in capacity building, creative arts, technology, infrastructure etc. She sits on the board of several companies including Conde Nast College of Fashion & Design, Frallain Group, Industrie Africa, Women’s Empowerment and Investment Group (WEIG), Ghana France Business Club among others.
Roberta draws from her wealth of experience across various markets globally, while leveraging her extensive network to help startup entrepreneurs bring their ideas to the market and scale globally. Her interests also span entrepreneurship, with significant interests in mentorship, funding startups and investing in infrastructure for the creative economy.
She is involved in conversations and discourse on various topics and socio-economic issues that are prevalent in Africa including women empowerment, entrepreneurship, youth unemployment, gender parity.
