Oluwakemi is an investment professional with 8 years of experience in fundraising, deal origination, deal execution, value building and portfolio management focusing on various sectors including FinTech, Technology, Mobility, Agri, Financial Services, Non-Bank Financial Services, Energy, Oil & Gas, FMCG, and Manufacturing across West Africa. She currently serves as the West Africa Investment Lead for the uMunthu Fund where she manages a portfolio of companies building impactful solutions targeted at the most pressing global problems.

She began her career in Banking & Strategy, working with teams to drive financial inclusion and develop products that cater to the unbanked/underbanked population of Nigeria. Kemi is also an active, value-add investor in micro-businesses in Nigeria. In addition to financing, she uses her wealth of experience to offer advisory services helping growing businesses navigate and thrive through complex business climates.

Kemi holds a distinction in Business Management (B.Sc.) from the American University of Nigeria, where she was awarded Best Graduating Student; after which, she attained a Master’s degree in Strategic Marketing & Consultancy (M.Sc.) from the University of Birmingham.
