Bio
Mark is based in Mauritius and is the founder and CEO of IPT Africa a digital payments company serving a global client base focusing on Africa and Frontier Markets. Mark is passionate about the future growth prospects Africa will present and the need for payment solutions to allow global corporations to access these markets.
Mark was a founder member of The Platform Africa, a media platform focusing on the African continent. IPT Africa was a founder member of The Mauritius African Fintech Hub and a lead sponsor for The African Fintech Festival hosted by Mauritius in October 2021.
Prior to relocating to Mauritius in 2011, Mark was an operating board member for Currencies Direct, a global payment company. A regular guest on CNBC Europe, Bloomberg, and the BBC his views on currency and global economic issues were regularly sought.
