Eddine is Innovation Lead at the Philips Foundation with over 20 years of experience in Research and Development. Before this role, he was Senior Advisor Innovation & Technology to UNDP Kenya. He also headed Philips Africa Innovation Hub, based in Nairobi. He built Philips Research Africa in Nairobi to address priority health and well-being needs in Africa. Bahaa Eddine developed several innovations to enable access to primary care in remote areas. He is an active promotor of innovation for the underserved, supported by his roles and memberships in industrial institutes such as board member of Engineering for Global Development. His multidisciplinary skills allow him to work with different competencies and co-create in a diversified ecosystem. He holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
