Anthony William Catt
Bio
Anthony is a UK based entrepreneur and startup ecosystem operator who has spent the past eight years creating, supporting and investing in new ventures with a strong focus on supporting emerging startup ecosystems across Africa.
He is the co-founder of Enterprise Academy, an organisation that creates training programmes and initiatives in collaboration with Governments, NGOs and Corporates to support the capacity and skills-building of early-stage entrepreneurs in developing regions and ecosystems across the globe.
Alongside Enterprise Academy, Anthony spent time working with Google for Startups UK as an Investor in Residence, launching several investment initiatives to help early-stage startup founders gain better access to investment. Honing his knowledge and networks in investment, Anthony hopes to foster more early-stage investment from the UK into African startups.
Previous to this, Anthony was the Managing Director of Oxygen Accelerator and helped grow one of the UK’s leading corporate innovation platforms, Pollen8. He has also been an investment scout for various investors, including South Korea’s biggest VC fund and to date, has directly facilitated $10m in investments, from Seed to Series B.
